Webinar on Impact of COVID-19 on creation of and access to IP resources in Public Health Sector

16 September 2020; 1600-1715 Hrs

As India continues its fight against corona virus and has taken the lead at the global level from humanitarian perspective, it should now do so from an intellectual perspective too. Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), has submitted a set of recommendations for the government of India on “IPR Challenges for Fighting a Pandemic Like Covid-19”. Also, on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day on 26 April, CII in collaboration with Indian Patent Office, Government of India and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has organized a digital conference with the theme “Global IP Sharing to Combat Covid-19”.

Continuing the trend, now CII is planning to organize a series of Webinars on “Impact of COVID-19 on creation of and access to IP resources in Public Health Sector”.

The first in the series is planned to conduct in collaboration with LexOrbis on September 16, 2020 at 1600 hours (for 1 Hr 15 Min). This would be followed by webinars by other experts.
