CII IPR Mission to the United Kingdom 2026
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising the CII IPR Mission to the United Kingdom from 6–10 July 2026 with the objective of strengthening international collaboration and fostering strategic engagements in the areas of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), innovation, technology commercialisation, brand protection, and policy development. The mission is being organised against the backdrop of the landmark India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signing, which is expected to further deepen bilateral cooperation in trade, innovation, technology, and intellectual property ecosystems between the two countries.
The mission will bring together Indian industry leaders, IP professionals, innovators, legal experts, startups, academia, and policymakers for high-level interactions with leading UK institutions, government bodies, intellectual property offices, innovation ecosystems, universities, research organisations, and industry stakeholders.
The delegation will engage in discussions on emerging trends in intellectual property, AI and innovation, IP financing, anti-counterfeiting and enforcement, technology transfer, commercialisation of IP assets, and global best practices in innovation-driven growth. The mission will also facilitate B2B meetings, institutional visits, roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at promoting cross-border partnerships and collaboration between Indian and UK stakeholders.
The CII IPR Mission to the UK will serve as an important platform for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and strengthening India–UK cooperation in the field of innovation, technology, and intellectual property in line with the evolving strategic and economic partnership between the two nations.
